My love for crochet began when I saw a crocheted bikini online. I then asked my mom, who used to make crocheted plushies or decoration pieces to thaugh me how to crochet.

It became a very important part of my journey when I moved to Germany for my studies. Living in Berlin and commuting daily to Potsdam, I was always trying to recreate pieces I discovered on YouTube or Pinterest. Crocheting became the best way to connect with strangers. Children and adults alike were curious about what I was making and would start conversations with me. It was incredible to realize how many people either crocheted themselves or had a crocheter in their family.

I founded Makenzy Creations to share my passion with people who appreciate handmade clothing and care about the story carried within every piece. From Côte d´Ivoire, I lived in France, Germany Algeria and Bahrain. Inspired by diverse cultures and global trends, my designs transform traditional crochet, knitting, and macramé techniques into bold, unique silhouettes for the modern wardrobe.
